Source authority

Official regulators and first-party legal disclosures carry more weight than derivative directories.

Corroboration

Independent agreement raises confidence. Repeated copies of one source do not.

Recency

Time-sensitive facts decay when a source is stale or no longer retrievable.

Specificity

Direct identifiers beat similarity: licence IDs and company numbers outweigh matching names.

Contradictions

Unresolved conflicts reduce confidence and remain visible; they are never averaged away.

What the score does not do

It does not generate facts, infer guilt, predict commercial success or replace legal due diligence. Every score should be inspectable down to the source record.
